Cookie Usage Policy
Updated: 20.11.23
The service https://arbi.exchange/ (arbi.exchange) uses session and persistent cookies. Session cookies are stored temporarily and are deleted after the browser is closed. Persistent cookies remain stored after the session ends.
Some cookies placed on the ARBI Exchange service website are also placed by information, advertising, and analytics partners (hereinafter referred to as “Partners”), who may combine cookies collected through the Service with other information provided by you or collected from other websites.
What are cookies?
A Cookie is a small file containing text information that is stored by a web browser when a User visits websites. This allows the ARBI Exchange service, in an open browser, to store and identify the User’s Internet activity and individual preferences.
Some cookies placed on the Service’s website, in particular those combined with unique identifiers and other information obtained by the Service, may be used to identify the User (“Cookie Identifiers”).
The ARBI Exchange service does not use Cookie Identifiers to determine the identity of the User. However, since Cookie Identifiers may theoretically lead to the identification of the User, the ARBI Exchange service treats such data as information that may be used to identify the User.
User Consent to the Use of Cookies
The service https://arbi.exchange/ (arbi.exchange) uses cookies based on the User’s consent. The User is not required to grant the Service permission to process cookies.
The User gives consent to the processing of cookies and accepts this Cookie Policy in the following cases:
In the case of Cookie Identifiers — by clicking the “Accept” button in the cookie pop-up window;
In the case of other cookies (i.e., those that cannot identify you) — simply by using the Service.
By accepting this Policy, the User voluntarily, clearly, and explicitly acknowledges that they have been informed and gives their express consent to the collection and processing of their cookies by the ARBI Exchange service (arbi.exchange), as described in this Cookie Policy.
To refuse the processing of Cookie Identifiers, the User must click the opt-out link provided at the bottom of the webpage. After the User opts out, ARBI Exchange must immediately disable the Cookie Identifiers and delete the User’s Cookie Identifiers from all of its systems.
Use of Cookies
The use of cookies placed on the ARBI Exchange service website (as well as by Partners) is intended to analyze the use of and traffic to the Service and to improve its operation.
Partners may also use cookies collected through the Service for purposes beyond those for which ARBI Exchange requires cookies, in particular for:
Adjusting User preferences when using other websites;
Displaying advertising that is most relevant to the User;
Evaluating the effectiveness of advertising campaigns for types of activities that use the services of Partners;
Tracking User actions on websites.
ARBI Exchange does not use automated decision-making when processing the User’s Cookie Identifiers.
Cookie Processing Period
ARBI Exchange shall retain the User’s Cookie Identifiers for no longer than required for the purposes of processing, i.e., until the User withdraws their consent to processing by the Service in accordance with the section “Consent to the Use of Cookies.”
Disclosure of Cookie Identifiers
The User agrees that ARBI Exchange may disclose their Cookie Identifiers if required for the processing purposes mentioned in the section “Use of Cookies”:
To companies belonging to the same group of companies as ARBI Exchange and/or to companies with a similar ownership structure or under common management with ARBI Exchange;
To Partners.
Partners may place their own cookies on the Service’s website and therefore may independently collect Cookie Identifiers.
Transfer of Cookies to Third Countries
The User agrees that the categories of persons who may receive their Cookie Identifiers under the section “Disclosure of Cookie Identifiers” may be located outside the User’s country and outside the European Economic Area.
As a result, the User’s Cookie Identifiers may be transferred from their country and the European Economic Area to countries where data protection and privacy regulations may differ from those in the User’s country and may provide a lower level of protection.
User Rights Regarding Cookies
A User of the service https://arbi.exchange/ (arbi.exchange) has the right to:
Receive information from ARBI Exchange concerning the processing of the User’s Cookie Identifiers by ARBI Exchange;
Have inaccurate Cookie Identifiers concerning the User corrected by ARBI Exchange without undue delay;
Request the deletion of Cookie Identifiers (“the right to be forgotten”);
Restrict the processing of Cookie Identifiers where permitted under applicable law;
Receive their Cookie Identifiers from ARBI Exchange in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and transmit such data to another controller without hindrance from the Service;
Lodge a complaint against ARBI Exchange with a data protection supervisory authority.
Updates to the Cookie Policy
ARBI Exchange may update this Cookie Policy from time to time.
If the Service changes this Cookie Policy in a manner that expands its rights to collect, process, use, and store the User’s Cookie Identifiers, such changes shall apply to the User only after the User has given consent to such changes.
All other changes shall apply to the User from the moment the new Cookie Policy is published on the Service’s website.
